Adoption

James 1:27--"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
Ephesians 1:4-6--"In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves."
We are passionate about adoption! God put it on our hearts to adopt children ourselves in 1984 or 1985, before we were even married. More recently, in early 1997, he gave us the names of two girls we felt he wanted us to adopt. This dream started to become reality when we felt him say "go" in March 2000. We researched, started our process off, and away we went. It will take me a lot of time to document this entire miracle, and I will add to it piece by piece in the near future. It would be impossible to describe all that God has done in and through our lives throughout this entire process, but I would like to share at least a glimpse into what has happened.
