8 Billion Ways ft Cascade & friends (thank you, Paul Simon!)

“What does it mean to love your neighbor?” There are about 8 billion people (each one unique and of infinite worth) in our beautiful world. Jesus tells us and shows us how to love others. These Georgia Tech CCF students have some great ideas, too. (Thank you, Itzel, Tino, Kayli, Sam, Cara, Aditya, Kristen, Anthony, Harry, and Cascade for sharing your wisdom while working on Piper Skoolie on a recent bus day!) Thank you, Paul Simon, for your great music! May God bless you, protect you, and give you peace!

Music: “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” (Paul Simon)

Words by me: The most important thing Christ said to me and you is to love God with all we say and think and do and love our neighbors as we love our very selves. Must be 8 billion ways to love your neighbor. Who is my neighbor? Just the people that I like? Furthermore, the ones we cannot stand or even just despise. We can’t ignore His words, for that would be unwise. Must be 8 billion ways to love your neighbor. 8 billion ways to love your neighbor. Give food to the hungry, share drinks with the thirsty, and welcome the stranger – do it for our King. Give clothes to those needing some, visit people in prison, and care for the sick ones – do it for our King. Give food to the hungry, share drinks with the thirsty, and welcome the stranger – do it for our King. Give clothes to those needing some, visit people in prison, and care for the sick ones – do it for our King. One day we all will stand before Him face to face. God won’t ask us about investments that we’ve made. He’ll want to know if we’ve been faithful in His ways. 8 billion ways to love your neighbor. And so why don’t we choose to act in love today? It’s in the doing we’ll begin to see the light ’cause when we reach out we’ll know Jesus Christ was right.
