Why Is There a Universe? (thank you, The Beatles!)

One of life’s BIG questions is – why is there a universe? If you haven’t heard it before, Leibniz’ contingency argument is a powerful and thought-provoking conversation starter with those in your life who might not have yet considered the importance of this question and the conclusions that follow. I encourage you to watch (and listen to :)) William Lane Craig’s excellent apologetics videos (including the one I used here). Thank you, The Beatles, for your great music! May God bless you, protect you, and give you peace!

Words by me: Why do we have something rather than a dark void of nothing? The explanation for that can’t be found in anything but God. Pools of sorrow, waves of joy – I want to keep an open mind. Life is much more than illusion. Is this a good conclusion? So, why is there a universe? How is there this awesome world? Why is there a universe? How is there this wondrous world? Everything that does exist has some kind of explanation of why it’s even here at all, across the universe. Some things that exist have their existence necessarily while others are contingently caused by something or someone else. Is this a good conclusion? So, why is there a universe? How is there this awesome world? Why is there a universe? How is there this wondrous world? Who is God and what’s He like? There are so many different views. God’s uncaused, immaterial, powerful, eternal, necessarily existing, non-contingent and non-physical – Lord of the universe. Is this a good conclusion? So, why is there a universe? How is there this awesome world? Why is there a universe? How is there this wondrous world? Seek God and you will find Him. God invites you to know Him. God loves you – come to Jesus! Seek God and you will find Him. God invites you to know Him. God loves you – come to Jesus!
