Do You Need Some Gum? (thank you, Bee Gees!)

For as long as I can remember, I’ve carried gum in my purse for Paul, our kids, and all other children (some have nicknamed me “the gum lady”). Bee Gees remain one of my all-time favorites, so there’s that. And of course, Mr. Bean! I miss handing out gum . . . it’s never because of halitosis, always because it’s a sweet treat that won’t harm your teeth (always sugar-free with me)! I apologize for gum hoarding, as shown in this video – we had stocked up before Easter but have not had the opportunity to give away a single piece. Hopefully that time will come sooner than later for the gum chewers in my life 🙂 Thank you, Bee Gees, for your great music. May God bless you, protect you, and give you peace!

Music: “How Deep Is Your Love?” (Bee Gees)
Words by me: Aaah! I know your breath in the morning sun. I smell it even through the pouring rain. And the moment that you wander far from me, I can detect it even at arm’s length. And it comes to me like a summer breeze that’s been warmed in the sun, and left out all day. And so now, I need to ask, Do you need some gum? (You need some gum? Do you need some gum?) I really want to know, ‘cause we’re living in a world of mints freshening breath when we all know gum is best – sweet without the calories. I believe in you! Your halitosis reaches to my very soul. It’s the scent in my deepest, darkest hour. Its aroma can make me fall. And you may not think that I care for you when you know down inside that I really do! But I have to ask again, Do you need some gum? (You need some gum? Do you need some gum?) I really want to know, ‘cause we’re living in a world of mints freshening breath when we all know gum is best – sweet without the calories. La la la la la. And it comes to me like a summer breeze that’s been warmed in the sun and left out all day. And for me, I need to ask, Do you need some gum? (You need some gum? Do you need some gum?) I really want to know, ‘cause we’re living in a world of mints freshening breath when we all know gum is best – sweet without the calories. La la la la la. Aaah! Do you need some gum? (You need some gum? Do you need some gum?) I really want to know, ‘cause we’re living in a world of mints freshening breath when we all know gum is best – sweet without the calories. La la la la la. Do you need some gum? (You need some gum? Do you need some gum?) I really want to know . . .
