A Wonderful Day Like Today

Last year, my friend Tamera and I went together to see her neighbor in a play. We chatted afterwards about our mutual enjoyment of community theater and musicals in particular. A couple of days later Tamera relayed a request from Linda – they had just lost their accompanist, and could I please record a track for her troupe? So, I recorded the accompaniment track for this song, then decided it would be fun to add a vocal track. I would not feel confident playing and singing these live at the same time (quite complicated!) but piecing tracks together is a whole other thing 🙂 I greatly enjoyed putting together this joyful song. What a great reminder that the world’s in a wonderful way and today is a wonderful day!
