Electrolytes (thank you, Maroon 5!)

With all the exercising we’re doing, let’s be sure to keep up our electrolytes! I learned this the hard way when I was walking the Camino in Spain a couple of years ago on a very hot day where I was hydrated well enough but very low on electrolytes. Lately I’ve been tired and fatigued, somewhat lethargic, what’s more. And then sometimes I feel so nauseous, like my guts are at war. Well, my plumbing’s doing gymnastics – I feel sick to my core. Oh, baby, there it goes again, there it goes again, making me cramp up. Yeah, I’ve been exercising, lowering my stress, to let it all go. Got routines for my body, for my body, like working out. Now I’m feeling dizzy, feeling dizzy, cramping up and confused. Then I looked it up, and I found out why – yeah, maybe I need electrolytes. I sipped H2O a million times, so, maybe I’m low on electrolytes. Don’t need sodas, don’t need juices, don’t need energy drinks. Just need water, sodium chloride, and some carbohydrates. I’ll be working out in the morning, need some KCl, too. And I’ll feel much better, my chemicals all balanced inside. Oh, baby, there it goes again, there it goes again, making me cramp up.
