Lockdown Lifter

Our friends, Brian and Moira, who were our pastors when we lived in Australia, shared how they are blessing their community during social distancing. Update from Brian & Moira on April 19th, 2020 – “Our free books weekend was so much fun. They came by foot, bike, scooter, stroller and colourful cars. They came from Yeronga, Tarragindi, Fairfield and more. 31 adults, 24 children and 7 or 8 dogs and left with 64+ books. We met heaps of Yeronga and beyond residents for the first time and every one of them was so friendly and appreciative. But the deepest joy was in our hearts. I feel like running a half marathon! The world’s best-seller says it well; “You’re far happier giving than getting”. Around 70% found out through the Yeronga Residents facebook page.“
