Quarantine Fatigue (thank you, Fitz and the Tantrums!)
A new term arose last month that well describes what many all over the world are experiencing – “quarantine fatigue.” Many are finding emotional / mental health to have declined. Please do what you can to take care of your health (physical and emotional) and do not hesitate to reach out for help. Continue to reach out to others each day, as many are struggling. None of us can do life alone! Sometimes this pandemic (which has encroached into every area of our lives) feels like a bad dream. But there’s hope . . . I encourage us not to focus on all the terminologies and bad news (which take away our motivation and do not bring relief). Instead, let’s focus on living one day at a time, one moment at a time, resting in God’s love and peace, which bring us hope. Hang in there, dear ones – you are deeply loved! Thank you, Fitz and the Tantrums, for your great music. May God bless you, protect you, and give you peace!
