As I was studying and preparing to record my Shelter In Place series on “Creator”, this song welled up in me. In my heart I am singing this to some people in my life who are very precious to me but have had a lifelong struggle with receiving unconditional love, being consumed with negative thoughts, and often feeling rejected or “less than”. Understanding and accepting who and whose we are – created in the image of God, beloved by Him – changes our lives, heals our hearts, and renews our minds. It’s a process – we’re all broken, all wounded, but “there is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still” (Corrie ten Boom). Come to Jesus – then you’ll know who you really are.
