Zita of Lucca (Holy Heroes)

Holy heroes are heroes of the Christian faith, those “pioneers who blazed the way,” that “huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith” (Hebrews 12:1). We are told to “think of all the good that has come from their lives, and follow the example of their faith.” (Hebrews 13:7) Hero stories can heal our wounded hearts and minds, help us to grow personally, and inspire us to action.
