Let’s Fold Some Origami ft Paul & Karen (thank you, Ohio Express!)

Paul & I grew up folding all kinds of origami models, largely thanks to Robert Harbin’s “Have Fun with Origami” TV show and books in the 70s. We’ve enjoyed origami with our kids, taught classes, incorporated it into our Christmas celebrations, and always have a stash of beautiful squares on hand. I hope this inspires you to fold some origami yourself – enjoy! Thank you, Ohio Express, for your great music! May God bless you, protect you, and give you peace!

Words by me: Yummy, yummy, yummy! Let’s fold some origami. It’s a really fun thing to do ’cause it’s such a neat thing, good-enough-to-show thing, and it’s just a-what we’re gonna do. First, make a bird base, next petal folds, then, fold the head and the tail. Fold a thousand cranes, string them together. Ooh, we can flap them, let’s go! Yummy, yummy, yummy! Let’s fold some origami and, as silly as it may seem, the folding that we’re doing is what keeps us viewing lotus flowers, frogs, and bowls for ice cream. Preliminary base, waterbomb base, kite, fish, bird, and frog base, too. Kinda sounds funny, but for paper folding, any square paper will do. Ba, da, ba, da, da, da, da, ba, da, da, da, da, ba, da, da, da! Yummy, yummy, yummy! Let’s fold some origami. Mountain folds go up into the sky. Valley folds are neat things, good-enough-to-show things, and they’re just a-what we’re gonna try. First, make a bird base, next petal folds, then, fold the head and the tail. Fold a thousand cranes, string them together. Ooh, we can flap them, let’s go! Ba, da, ba, da, da, da, da, ba, da, da, da! Neat thing – origami! Neat thing – origami!
