Lollipop (thank you, Hugh Grant!)

Aren’t lollipops fun? So is the silly song from a fictional band PoP! 🙂 Just as we are drawn to the colorful swirls in a giant lollipop, a twist of flavor and beauty in our lives is so very appealing. Thank you, Hugh Grant, for your great music! May God bless you, protect you, and give you peace!

Music: “PoP! Goes My Heart” (Hugh Grant)

Words by me: I never thought that I could be so satisfied every time that I see a new shape or size. Delight inside me that words just can’t describe, and there’s no explaining. Something in the way they swirl I can’t deny. Every colorful stripe is a lullaby. A twist of flavor makes life worthwhile more than gold and silver. I said I wasn’t gonna buy a lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) I wasn’t gonna eat another lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) And I just can’t, can’t say no, they are so appealing. Delicious candies are far and few. Some look smooth but they taste dull and grainy, quite a lot like clay. They claim to lead to a destiny that’s good, but there’s no explaining. Let’s try candy apple and a juicy grape, root beer float, cotton candy, then some blueberries and cream, pink lemonade and a wild cherry, and a coca-cola! I said I wasn’t gonna buy a lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) I wasn’t gonna eat another lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) And I just can’t, can’t say no, they are so appealing. A twist of flavor makes life worthwhile more than gold or silver. I said I wasn’t gonna buy a lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) I wasn’t gonna eat another lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) I said I wasn’t gonna buy a lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) I wasn’t gonna eat another lollipop, but I did. (oh, lollipop!) And I just can’t, can’t say no . . .
