Christmas . . . what is the reason for the season? (hint: it’s more than lights and presents) We all have heartache and pain – this is a great time of year to pause and ponder the One who took the entire world upon His shoulders. Jesus of Nazareth is not just a figure in a stained glass window, but a real person of history, whose life can be investigated historically. Who is this person, Jesus Christ, who took the world upon His shoulders? He shows us what God’s really like, gives us life if we receive Him. In our lives, we have heartache and pain. We don’t know if we can face it again. Ask, seek, knock, we’ve traveled so far. In Christ – eternal life. Who do you say that I am? Not just a charismatic leader. The way, the truth, the life, I came to seek and save, yes, I love you! We’ve gotta take a little time, a little time on the big questions. We’ve got nowhere left to hide. It looks like love has finally found us. In our lives, we have heartache and pain. We don’t know if we can face it again. Ask, seek, knock, we’ve traveled so far. In Christ – eternal life. Who do you say that I am? Not just a good teacher. The way, the truth, the life, I came to seek and save, yes, I love you! Who do you say that I am? Christmas is more than lights and presents.
