Karen (LinkedIn) In 2007 she won a Distinguished Junior High School Mathematics Edyth May Sliffe Award (during our Sculley Academy Math Club days). In 1984, she published a short technical report on artificial intelligence understanding of natural language during honors year at U of Q (the correct title is “KRL” not “KBL”).
Peter (LinkedIn) Peter earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. In 2005, he was one of only 79 students in the world (out of 143,000 participants) who attained a perfect score in the AMC-8 Mathematics Competition.
Alex (LinkedIn)
Jonathan (LinkedIn / Google Scholar) Jonathan earned a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. In 2015 he was awarded GA Tech’s Colonel Oscar P. Cleaver Award. In 2016, he did a Poster Presentation at the International Workshop on Nitride Semiconductors. His topic was “Monte Carlo Simulation of the Gunn Effect in AlGaN/GaN 2DEG” – yes, exactly. He was a Ph.D. candidate for many years at GA Tech with a thesis entitled “Novel Modes of Charge Transport and Charge Domain Instability, and their Application to Room Temperature Millimeter-Wave and Terahertz Signal Generation”). He has published several articles along the way (scroll down for the pdf of his IEEE published article) (also here, here, here, and here). He earned extra scholarships while pursuing his Electrical Engineering degree, including this one.
Aditi (Instagram) She was a Ph.D. candidate for many years at GA Tech and has published several articles along the way (here, here, here, here, here, here, and here). Here is a poster from one of her presentations.

Here’s the abstract from a paper (see pdf p. 28) he presented (“On-Line Beta Spectrometer). Later he worked as a Lecturer at the Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education in Toowoomba, Qld and conducted research (see pdf p. 167) (“FLUORINE IN AUSTRALIAN COALS: A NUCLEAR PHYSICS TECHNIQUE”) for many years at the Australian Atomic Energy Commission Research Establishment at Lucas Heights, NSW. Here are his college yearbooks: freshman (1954) (see p. 136, 161), junior (1956) (see p. 95) and senior (1957) (see p. 79) years.
