Current Events

Each of the children keeps up with news around the world by reading a weekly edition of God’s World News. There are 4 editions available for children:

Early Edition (Pre-K – 1st)

Taking Off (2nd – 3rd)

News Current (4th – 5th)

Top Story (6th – 9th)

Each newspaper includes current news articles, vocabulary words, and age-appropriate activities and questions about the news. In addition, they also include human interest stories, letters to the editor, and occasional contests.

In addition, we also like to follow CNN online, especially when there are interactive / multimedia weather events.
