Dates with Dad / Dates with Mum

With each of our children, from the age of 2 to 13 we each had intentional dates with them on a rotation basis. Since we have six children, each child had a date with Dad every 6 weeks AND a date with Mum every six weeks. Karen took a child out to eat and do something fun every Tuesday night; Paul did the same every Thursday night. This helped us to shower attention and affection on each child individually, so that no one would get lost in the pack 🙂 We had our favorite places, including Bugaboo Creek, IHOP, Chuck-E-Cheese, Shoney’s, . . .
